ORINDA COTILLION HISTORY

The Orinda Cotillion has been an annual community tradition since 1974. Each year, we welcome all seventh grade students in Orinda to a series of evening dance classes. The purpose of Orinda Cotillion is to offer instruction in dancing fundamentals while teaching etiquette and fostering thoughtfulness for others in a social atmosphere.

ORINDA COTILLION format

Throughout the school year, six dances are held on Friday evenings in Orinda. Each dance features a different style including Ballroom, Western, Fifties and Latin among other things. Parents chaperones are present at each dance.
