attire guidelines
Appropriate dressy attire is required when not dressed in costume
Boys must wear ties and slacks/khakis. Jackets (although very dapper!) are optional.
Dresses, skirts and rompers must pass the “fingertip test,” which means that the length of the skirt/dress/romper must be at least as long, if not longer, than the ends of their fingertips when hands are held by sides. During the dance, the students alternate between dancing and kneeling/sitting on the floor so dresses/skirts/rompers should be a length they are comfortable doing both in.
No crop tops, thin spaghetti strap, one strap, one shoulder, strapless or backless tops or dresses allowed.
No sneakers, denim or t-shirts when not dressed in costume.
