ORINDA COTILLION HISTORY

The Orinda Cotillion has been an annual community tradition for 50 years, since 1974. Each year, we welcome all seventh grade students in Orinda to a series of evening dance classes. The purpose of Orinda Cotillion is to offer instruction in dancing fundamentals while teaching etiquette and fostering thoughtfulness for others in a social atmosphere.

ORINDA COTILLION format

Throughout the school year, a series of dances are held on Friday evenings in Orinda. Each dance features a different style including Ballroom, Western, and Latin among others. Parent chaperones are present at each dance.

The Orinda Cotillion is a parent-volunteer run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and in no way, is affiliated with the Orinda Union School District. If you have any questions, please email us at orindacotillion@gmail.com.
